Street Acts aims to increase skills in creative campaigning on issues such as peace, social justice and the environment by sharing - Ideas for street campaigning, including street theatre, that really work. - Ideas for props, banners and costumes that are simple to make, portable and multipurpose ... we can even loan you some. - Activities that are fun, - Clearly communicate the message, - Capture positive media attention. This is so that our 'audience', whether that is passers by or people via the media, feel more engaged , encouraged and welcomed by campaigners, not threatened or accused. We also run free workshops on creative campaigning anywhere... including in your front room. Contact us for details. Send photos and written accountsIf you've seen or taken part in some form of street theatre, clowning or creative campaigning please send us a written account or how to instructions (as long or short as you like) and, if you have them, digital photos. If you have photos in other formats, let us know and we may still be able to use them. Also send us any good advice, do's and don'ts, ideas which you think will work well but haven't tried yet, and suggested additions/amendments to anything we've written. Practical ideas for easy-to-make props and costumes would also be really useful.
